1. Warm up:
-have students write complete sentences on the board
-feed back(focus students on verb form following modals)
2. Practice:
Activity 1
show the poster and have students read 8 examples. Then complete the note.

Introduce the tables pages 94+95
Activity 3
-set the scene(today is the birthday party of Lan’s grandmother, but she’s old. She can’t hear anybody)
-model by giving examples
-have students produce reported sentences like Lan does.

-have students play the role of Nga and make more reported questions.
