 Lesson 1: Getting started+ Listen and read 
 I. OBJECTIVE: 
1. Knowledge, skills, attitude
 1.1. Knowledge: - Introduce traditional dress of Vietnam.
 - Review the present perfect tense and passive voice.
 1.2. Skill: Speaking, reading skills
 1.3. Attitude: they know about the culture of clothing in some countries, especially the 
Ao Dai, the tranditonal dress of Vietnamese women
2. Competences: ( Modifying the abilities that students need to develop)
 - Co-operation, practising, discussion group, technical present .
 - Self- study
 - students will be able to read for specific information about the lexical items related to the 
friendship

II. PREPARATION: 
1. Teacher: - Materials: Ss’ books, text books, laptop/ Cassette player and pictures about 
traditional clothes of Vietnam and other countries
 - Method: group work, individual work
2. Ss: vocabulary Extra board.
III. PROCEDURES: 
 1. Warm up: Checking attendances
 2. Old lesson: talk about the last summer vacation
