 OUR WORLD: WRITING A PARAGRAPH ABOUT THE NEGATIVE 
 EFFECTS OF TOURISM ON AN AREA/COUNTRY
I./. OBJECTIVE: 
1. Knowledge, Skills , Attitude :
 -By the end of the lesson, students can:
 - learn some more words related tourism on an area
 1.1.Knowledge: - Vocabulary: words related to tourism
 - the passive ( present simple and other tenses)
 1.2. Skills: writing skills
 1.3. Attitude: - Positive about protecting environment 
 - Students know how to learn English in right way.
 - Ss are interested in tourism
2. Competences:
- Co-operation
- Self- study
- Using some vocabularies and structures to talk about their favourite dishes and 
recipes for dishes
II. PREPARATION: 
1. Teacher: - Materials: Ss’ books, handouts, TV screen, tape
 - Method: group work, individual work
2. Ss: vocabulary 
III. PROCEDURES: 
1.Warmer: Word webs
- Elicits the topic from students 
? Work in two teams 
? Brainstorm all the words related to the topic: tourism
- Encourage them to call out as many words as possible.
2.Vocabulary: 
Work in groups. Talk about the negative effects of tourism on a region or country. 
The following ideas may be helpful to you.
3. Practice: 
Devide class into four groups and write about the topics:
 - natural enviroment is damaged
 - natural beauty is spoited
 - traditional ways of life are affected
 - social problems may arise
 4. Production:
 Correct the works of 4 groups
 - Give feedback
