II. Objective: Ss 'll be able to form the Passive in Future simple and the structures with adjectives.

Teaching aids: Cardboard Procedure Stage Steps / Activities Work arrangement Warm up Presentation Practice Production Home work Pelmanism: Divide class into 2 groups. Prepare 4 cards with number (from 1 to 4 ) on one side and 4 verbs with their past participle on the other. Ask Ss to choose 2 numbers,turn the cards over,if they match eg: buy - bought,that team gets one mark.The next team continues. eat bring take have took had brought eaten 1. Pre teach structure: A. The Passive form: Be + V(past participle) a. Passive form in the present simple: S + am/is/are + V(past participle) + (by) + O. Example: English is spoken all over the world. Ask Ss to make some examples. b. Passive form in the past simple: S + was/were + V(past participle). Example: Truyen Kieu was written by Nguyen Du Ask Ss to make some examples with this structure. c. Passive form in the future simple: S + will + be + V(past participle) Example: The work 'll be finished tomorrow. 2. Practice: Let Ss do exercise 1,2 in language focus. Ask Ss to work in pairs. Call on some pairs to read their answer before the class. Give feedback. Language focus 1: Answer key: b. Then the glass is washed with a detergent liquid. c. (4) Will it be made. 3. Review stucture Adjective + to infinitive: It's + adjective (for sb) + to infinitive. Example: It's difficult for me to get a good job. Ask Ss to make some examples. Have Ss practise exercise 3 & exercise 4 on page 96. Let Ss work in pairs. Give feedback. Language focus 3: Answer key: (1) It's easy to understand. (2) It's hard to believe. (3) It's dangerous to go. (4) It 's important to wait. Notes: Adjective can be followed by a clause. Adj + clause Example: I am delighted that you passed your English exam. Language focus 4: Answer key: 1.was happy; 2.am relieved; 3. is afraid; 4. Are you sure..; 5. am certain. Futher practice: Rewrite the letter beginning with: "Nam 's grandparents are delighted that he Ask Ss to work individual. Redo all exercises that they have made.
